Social Networking

When is Social Networking taken too far???? Who really knows I mean everyone has different ways of expressing themselves threw Myspace, Twitter, Facebook, and other social networking sites. Although others feel like it's ok to publicize their private lives and expose their bodies on the Internet, it truly shouldn't be done. For instance, our school had a scandal on Facebook dealing with students from class of 2010, which displayed rumors about many of the seniors, mainly rumors that weren't true. Also for someone to do something so shallow was wrong in my eyes, it basically made it seem like they had no life. Airing dirty laundry that isn't yours isn't right, and even if it is yours, just have enough respect for your self and just keep it to your self.I personally think it's a great way to interact with fellow friends and classmates, especially ones whom you haven't spoken to in years. I also keep in touch with my family threw Myspace and Facebook. Social networking can be fun and that's why it was created, so don't abuse the privileges that we have because it might just mess up opportunities for other users.

Well the thing about facebook and the seniors...no comment. But lots of people spread too much personal information on social networking sites and it makes for trouble.

social networking takes a major role for our society today because people are misusing myspace and facebook for unappropriate images.....

Social networking has went from meeting new people and finding old friends to drama, personal issues, and negativity. People should really keep their personal business off facebook. Everyone is just looking for something to get into and it would be better if these things were discussed in private matters.

While airing dirty laundry isn't right, people like to read it, no mattter what they say. Why do you thin tabloids sell so well and scandals = higher ratings?

Reguardless, displaying dirty rumors in apublic forum isn't cool, but it helps not to feed into it.
