Keeping a Friendship "S.T.R.O.N.G"
Everyone has someone to call their friend. Although you might meet a few fake back stabbers as you go along in life, remember to keep your friends close but your enemies closer. Friends keep you strong through the hardest times, when you feel like there's nothing else to do, you can always turn to them. If I didn't have friends I honestly don't know where I would be. I love giving advice but receiving it from someone who you know has your back no matter what is always special to me. In long distance friendships the best way to keep it strong is just communicating on a daily basis, because you rarely see that person. Also being a good friend makes your life fun, good friends have a different kind of support than everyone else, it's truly special. Treat others how you want to be treated. We make the best of ourselves through our actions, so keeping a friend by your side it the way to go.
These are my 10 steps to keeping a good Friendship:
1. TRUST EACH OTHER ENOUGH TO TELL THEM ANYTHING.
2. HAVE THAT PERSONS BACK NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY IT IS.
3. DON'T EVER EVER BE A BACK STABBER.
4. DON'T DATE EACH OTHERS EX'S WITHOUT PERMISSION OR JUST NOT AT ALL.
5. COMMUNICATE ALWAYS, KEEP IN CONTACT ON A DAILY BASIS.
6. TELL EACH OTHER ANY AND EVERYTHING NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT MAY HURT.
7. ALWAYS BE RELIABLE, JUST BE THERE FOR THEM, HEARTBREAKS, ADVICE, AND DRAMA.
8. HAVE RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER.
9. ALWAYS STAY TRUE AND REAL TO YOUR FRIENDS.
10. REMEMBER NO MATTER WHO THEY MAY BE COOL WITH DON'T GET JEALOUS ABOUT ANY OF THEIR OTHER FRIENDS. YOUR STILL SPECIAL TO THEM.(Danielle lol)

Social Networking
When is Social Networking taken too far???? Who really knows I mean everyone has different ways of expressing themselves threw Myspace, Twitter, Facebook, and other social networking sites. Although others feel like it's ok to publicize their private lives and expose their bodies on the Internet, it truly shouldn't be done. For instance, our school had a scandal on Facebook dealing with students from class of 2010, which displayed rumors about many of the seniors, mainly rumors that weren't true. Also for someone to do something so shallow was wrong in my eyes, it basically made it seem like they had no life. Airing dirty laundry that isn't yours isn't right, and even if it is yours, just have enough respect for your self and just keep it to your self.I personally think it's a great way to interact with fellow friends and classmates, especially ones whom you haven't spoken to in years. I also keep in touch with my family threw Myspace and Facebook. Social networking can be fun and that's why it was created, so don't abuse the privileges that we have because it might just mess up opportunities for other users.

Teen Pregnancy
Teen pregnancy is something that many teens go through at a early age, unexpectedly finding out that they are now pregnant. When this happens there is much responsibility that comes along with it. For instance, more work at school, less quality time with friends, and any other extra-curricular activities. It may create an emotional crisis for yourself including shame and fear, you may give in to peer pressure much more than usual. The stress will eventually build up, leading to you telling your parents, and others that are really close to you. Also finding help to support your child, being able to finish work in class, and trying to live your life the way you want. All of this can be avoided by using protection, and making sure the female is on birth-control to prevent pregnancy, or just plain abstinence. The United States has the highest rates of teenage pregnancy and births in the western industrialized world. Teen pregnancy costs the United States at least $7 billion annually. Every year around 750,000 teenagers will get pregnant, and more than 2/3 of all teenagers who have a baby will not graduate from high school.

TYRA'S BACK IN SHAPE!!!!!!
Since the super model Tyra Banks has retired from modeling she has put on a few pounds. Which means she hasn't been worrying about her weight, so she has definitely been in the lime light of gossip. Tyra being the person she is she just didn't care about what the critics said, she also told the Media to kiss her fat a--. Banks felt as though young girls looked up to her because she wasn't the average size 0-3; but with critics calling her names and criticizing her weight that then lowers the self esteem of those young girls, AND TYRA AS WELL. Tyra said, "It's not her weight gain or personal issues that caused her pain, but the sharp words from critics". Although now since her show has started back,
Tyra has lost over 30 lbs and living her life fabulously. Previously wearing the sizes 14-16 she is now a sexy size 8, and flaunting her figure vigorously. But after all of this now their criticiz
ing her for losing too much weight. I feel that the media talks about you period no matter what, but this really hurts people, and it shouldn't be done. I personally love Tyra and she is one of my long term IDOLS, I also love her shows "ANTM", and the "Tyra Show". I salute Tyra for being the strong courageous person she is, she's my inspiration.

Self Expression:
Expressing yourself is always the key, many people show this in the way they dress or their personality. Self-Expression can show others your style, ideas, and creativity. Everyone has their own way of expressing themselves that just makes us who we are. It just creates a sense of individuality,which everyone wants in order to be noticed. Although some may find themselves going over board with too much self expression. For instance, wearing clothes that are way too reviling or wearing something at the most inappropriate time. Is it really possible to over express yourself,because truthfully it wouldn't be self expression if you dressed like everyone else. Self expression can be derived throughout everyone's life through many ways, we just have to find a way and incorporate it into our everyday lifestyle. Basically without self expression the world would be a dull & lifeless place. So don't be afraid to try something new set all the trends and never follow the ones created, be your own person through your own light. Expressing yourself maybe the key to your success. :-)))

S.E.X.T.I.N.G
Sexting is the act of sending sexually explicit messages or photos electronically, by using cell phones. Sexting is known everywhere around the world and everyone is doing it. But many may not know that you may be sent to jail or prison for child pornography. Teenagers are using this as a way to flirt and "have fun". Although teens may send a picture to a boyfriend or girlfriend, the photos usually get shared. Meaning anyone around you may have this photo, which isn't something that anyone would want. Also with the new technology the picture will spread automatically. I personally believe we can't blame it on technology, its the teenagers decision to do this. The star from the hit movie "High School Musical", Vanessa Anne Hudgens was also accused of this wrong doing. The National Campaign to Prevent Teen & Unplanned Pregnancy, a private nonprofit group whose mission is to protect children, and CosmoGirl.com, surveyed nearly 1,300 teens about sex and technology. The result was that 1 in 5 teens say they've sexted even though the majority know it could be a crime. This trend is sweeping the nation. Also below I provided a video that appeared on the "Tyra Show" that showcases teens talking about sexting , and how it revolves in their lives. SO ENJOY !!!

"A Good Man Gone too Soon"
The former fiance of Kandi Burruss of Atlanta Housewives was beaten to death of power at a local Atlanta Strip Club. Ashley Jewell better known as A.J, appeared on the hit reality show "Real Housewives of Atlanta". He was known very well, he was part owner of the Strip club "Body Tap", in the local area of Atlanta. The altercation is known to have happened because of a lack of respect. Jewell was beaten brutily and had sustained head injuries which lead to his death. A.J. also has a numerous amount of kids Kandi adopted two of them as well. The man who Jewell was fighting with went by the name of Fredrick Richardson, he also worked at the Club. Richardson is currently being held on charges of voluntary manslaughter without bond.This is something that was a shock to me because he seems like a really laid back person and would never harm anyone. He was just gone too soon over something so little. I guess this truly means life is short.
